Home Coming Summer Program

The Homecoming Summer Program (HCSP) brings together academics, scientists, researchers, and professionals who live abroad to share their knowledge and experience through teaching and training activities during the summer.

ASIRPA works with universities to develop and conduct lectures, courses, and professional training programs, particularly in Indonesia.

Strengthening Indonesia’s Human Capital

The main purpose of HCSP is to contribute to the development of Indonesia’s human capital. Through lectures and training activities, Indonesian academics and professionals living abroad have an opportunity to share their international knowledge, experience, and expertise with students, educators, and professionals in Indonesia.

Connecting Indonesian Professionals Abroad

HCSP provides an opportunity for Indonesian citizens living outside Indonesia to contribute to education and professional development in their home country. Their international academic and professional experiences can help support educational programs that work toward international standards.

University Collaboration

ASIRPA collaborates with universities to identify opportunities for lectures, summer courses, workshops, and training programs. These partnerships connect universities in Indonesia with academics, researchers, scientists, and professionals based abroad.

Expanding International Participation

While the program initially focuses on Indonesian academics and professionals living overseas, HCSP is intended to expand over time to include qualified foreign academics and professionals recommended by participating organizations.

Building Long-Term Connections

ASIRPA has reached out to academics, researchers, and professionals living abroad, particularly those based in the United States, to explore opportunities to provide summer courses and training in Indonesia.

Through HCSP, ASIRPA seeks to strengthen connections between Indonesia and its international academic and professional community while creating opportunities to share knowledge, experience, and expertise.
